Ski touring is accessible to far more people than you might imagine. You don’t need to be a top-level athlete; the key is simply choosing a route suited to your fitness, skiing ability, and mountain experience. With an experienced instructor by your side, you learn to pace yourself on the ascent while fully enjoying the thrill of the descent.

What is it?

There are numerous options around Morzine, with routes catering to various skill levels. For a first-time experience, the Col du Ratti, with a vertical gain of 500m, offers a manageable route and an accessible descent. More seasoned skiers might opt for the Tête de Bostan; rising to around 2,500m, it features a vertical gain of up to 1,200m and includes more technical sections.

Why do people like it ?

Another way to enjoy the mountains. Preparing for a ski touring outing involves more than just choosing a route. Factors such as the weather, snow quality, the group’s skill level, and terrain conditions are all taken into account both before and during the trip. Consequently, each route offers options for adjustment or alternative plans, prioritizing responsible mountain practice.

Where is it ?

Our instructors will select a location within the Morzine, Les Gets or Avoriaz ski areas according to your level of experience and, most importantly snow conditions.
